ReplyDeleteWhere is this in Fallston? I'm surprised that I've never come across it before. What is the history? It appears to be an old defense tower, used for spotting planes during war? (Or at least modified for such?)

I don't know a thing about it. My guess is that it's a "folly." And a fun one at that. There isn't much in the way of art, or even whimsy, in Fallston (or HarCo), so it's a welcome addition to the area.
