The Central Tippecanoe Club of Harford County, Maryland was created in 1840 to "secure, by all honorable means, the election of William Henry Harrison and John Tyler as the next President and Vice President of the United States ..." Which they, in part, did: Harrison won by a landslide, but died a month after his inauguration.
