Vale: The forgotten MA&PA Station

Vale Passenger Station.

There is nothing left of the old Maryland & Pennsylvania Railroad in Bel Air, nor is there much left of it in Fallston, and there's hardly a trace to be found on the MA&PA "Heritage" Trail, but nearby sits Vale Station - just waiting to be restored.

I may have to disagree with you. I thought that the long red building/house around the corner from this one was the Vale Station.

The best kind of disagreement - we are both right. The red building was the freight station, the grey building was for passengers. The passenger station is also thought to have housed a general store. I'm using a back issue of "The Timetable" for reference; spring '94 issue. It is published by the MA&PA Preservation & Historical Society: http://www.maparailroadhist.org. I'm gonna post a picture of the red building here too.
