Maple Donuts is one of those places that's both charming and slightly creepy at the same time. I love the dinery looking building with its giant decorative bas-relief donut & neon signage, but the patriotic aspect seems a bit over the top. (Must everything have an issue attached? Can't my donuts just be about donuts?)
I've always passed the place by, afraid that once entering, they might try to recruit me into something weird. But I finally took the plunge and it was just fine. The donuts are huge & tasty. The coffee is hot, though a bit bland. It is located on the Lincoln Highway in York, Pennsylvania. Recommended.
