Stewartstown Historical Society looks to the future

(YDR) - With its 25th year coming to a close, the Stewartstown Historical Society is entering 2009 with a focus on a restoration of the Stewartstown Railroad -- a project it believes could bring in more members.
Society president Rebecca Manifold said the nonprofit plans to continue its help in rehabilitating the tracks and rail station. The project has been popular in the area, she said, and it could trigger an increased interest in preserving local landmarks.
