(Aegis) Harford County has one and Havre de Grace City Councilman Mitch Shank thinks the city should have its own historical society, too.
"There is a group of people who met about a year ago and asked is there a need for Havre de Grace to have a historical society," Shank said. "Many of us, including myself, think there should be."
Local historians will debate the question during the year's final Ellsworth B. Shank Lecture Series at 6:30 p.m. inside Havre de Grace's city hall on Thursday. Continued
