There are hidden monuments all over the place, many of them right under our noses. This one sits on the bridge crossing the Little Gunpowder River on Route 40, just below Joppatown. I doubt many people even know there's a river there, let alone a bridge with a fine plaque affixed. Special thanks to Pat Depkin for taking the time to make, and send us, these great pictures.
