Over at Nightening, our blog devoted to night photography, we've been touring some of the older towns in the region. While summer days on the Chesapeake are not all that conducive to great image making, the nights can be cool and clear. Lately we've been roaming the streets of York, Pennsylvania and Port Deposit, Maryland. These towns, and towns like them, are chock full of great old buildings, are generally well lit, and have the added bonus of being fairly safe places to be after dark. Nightening is all about the pictures, I don't even caption them, but many will look familiar to Falmanac readers.
